Wordless Wednesday: December 27, 2017 (w/linky) : Christmas Celebrations

My oldest children and the granddaughters came down to celebrate Christmas with us on Christmas Eve. The young children put on a Christmas play that they put together all on their own, with Tabitha writing the script. I did type it out though. Then we had our meal and exchanged gifts before heading to church for the Christmas Eve Candlelight service.

They are starting to feel a bit squished, so it looks like it is time to change the arrangement.

We read the Christmas story from the Bible and the children took turns setting out the figures.

There are the wise men, beginning their travels.

Even Melk got a "stocking."

Then he wanted to hang out with the wise men to watch us open our presents.

Stocking time

We played a game to see who would be the first one to get to GIVE a present. The wise men and a shepherd traveled the toilet paper road toward the tree.

For some reason I didn't get pictures of the first gifts being given out. But here are the children opening their new pjs, which they wore for the rest of the day.

Time to exchange more gifts.

Now for the gifts from grandma.

Looking forward to seeing your Wordless (or not so wordless) Wednesday posts this week.

No button currently, and there won't be one until I can figure it out seeing as Photobucket has changed things. Feel free to still share the picture in place of the button on your Wordless Wednesday post or in a list of Wordless Wednesday linkies. Just link it to my Wordless Wednesday permalink please.
